WHAT IS YOUR HIRING PROCESS FOR YOUR CAREGIVERS?
All applicants are interviewed and tested. If we feel comfortable and confident with the individual a criminal background check is issued. Previous employer verifications requests are also issued at this time. If the background check and reference return to DialMED clean and clear we offer a position to the applicant.

WHAT BACKGROUND CRIMINAL SERVICE(S) DO YOU CHECK?
A criminal background check is run on each applicant. DMV records are also checked and verified.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRAINING OR DO YOU HIRE EXPERIENCED CARE GIVERS?
DialMED Home Care hires trained, experienced individuals. We do training specific to DialMED's policies and procedures.

DO YOU CHECK REFERENCES?
Yes, references on previous employers are verified and used as a determining factor in the hiring process.

DO YOUR CAREGIVERS PROVIDE YOU WITH A TB TEST CONFIRMATION?
Employees must provide DialMED with a clear TB test prior to working in a client's home.

HOW DO YOU MONITOR OR FOLLOW-UP ON YOUR CARE GIVERS?
Positive and negative feedback is documented on all employees. DialMED reacts to this feedback immediately. Throughout the year, evaluation forms are mailed to all clients.
When caregivers are hired, they are instructed to so impress their clients with great work ethic and performance, that the client never feels a need to contact DialMED and report negative feedback. DialMED's Home Care Administrator also performs random house checks throughout the year.

ARE YOUR CAREGIVERS LEGAL CITIZENS?
All caregivers are legal US citizens or authorized to work in the United States. Social Security numbers are verified upon hire.

DO YOUR CAREGIVERS SPEAK ENGLISH?
The majority of our caregivers speak fluent English, though many caregivers speak Spanish to accommodate the needs of the elderly Spanish speaking clients.

DO THEY DRIVE AND HAVE THEIR OWN VEHICLES?
Most caregiver have their own vehicles, though they are only required to get to work and do not have to have their own vehicles. If your need is for a driver, DialMED will provide a caregiver who has a car.

ARE YOU INSURED AND BONDED?
All DialMED caregivers are employees of DialMED, are bonded, and covered by DialMED's workers compensation policy.
